It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
November 20, 2009
I am such a sucker for Christmas. I totally love it!!!! I love all the decorations, I love the music, I love how everyone gets excited thinking “I will buy this for Aunty Flora, and this for my brother”. I love the whole feeling, the anticipation, the joy on kids faces when they see the lights and decorations. It’s all so wonderful.
This year, I would like to share the joy of giving, by giving away two free sessions to be held in the month of December. Photography is such a great way to capture life as it is now, and I would like to be able to give that gift.
“So, what’s the catch”, I hear you ask…..
Well….. I would like you to enjoy the gift of giving to, and nominate someone who you think would like to win a free standard session with Kipindi Photography. Just leave a comment on this blog post, with the name of the person you would like to nominate, and if the person you nominate wins, then I will contact you to get their details to organise the session.
The draw is open for one week, til midnight Sunday 29th November. I will get one of my sweet kidlets to draw out the TWO winners Monday 30th November, so that should give you enough time to let all your friends know about it too!
Please note:
- this prize is only open for people who live in, or are willing to travel to hold the session in, Melbourne, and surrounding suburbs.
- the prize is for two free sessions (valued at $100 each), to be given to two seperate families. The prize does not include any prints/products.
- the sessions may only be used in December, however prints from the sessions will not be available until January 2010, due to cut off dates at the printing labs.
- you may NOT nominate yourself, please remember this is all about the gift of giving, maybe think of a family you know who is in need of some updated family photos?
- one nomination per person please

Louise Green: My sister Louise has just had her first child, a daugther Jasmine. Would love for her to get some beautiful photos of her 'new' family with you Dannii.
Natalie: I just had my washing machine man around and he was talking about his family. Colin raised his 3 children by himself, they are now grown and have kids of their own. His daughter just had her second child 2 weeks ago. Last weekend on his way home from seeing his daughter he had a "near death", experience as he was involved in a head on collison. I was talking to him about you taking pics of nathaniel and i passed on a business card for his daughter. He asked if you also did family portraits as he doesnt really have any of his kids and himself and his accident has made him realise that life is very short. As he runs his own business he hasn't been able to take time off to recover from his injuries, fractured sternum, ribs etc. I thought this would be a lovely everlasting christmas gift to him and his family.
Sarah: One of my very dearest friends Kerry recently seperated from her husband and she and her two children (my God children) are starting their new life journey together. I would love to give her the opportunity to have some beautiful photographs taken to bring a smile to her face.
Angela Byrnes: Some good friends of ours, Anita and Sean had their first child together yesterday (Sean's first child and Anita's 2nd). Two of the world's most decent, down to earth people you could ever meet. They never ask for anything and are always there when needed. I think they would be very deserving.
eunice thompson: my beautiful daughter Angela rang today to say she has booked flights to Tassie in May. I thought she wanted me to babysit whilst she and hubby had a well deserved break together. But no, she is taking ME. Its my Mothers Day next year. I am very blessed to be loved so much and to have such a beautiful, thoughtful and caring daughter.
Justin Holland: My bosses Brett and Jenny. They have 2 young kids and have mentioned that they need some updated family photos. They are extremely hard working and generous people. I would love for them to be rewarded.
Cassie Dawson: Close friends of mine, Beth and Duncan have 2 small kids and they have their wedding coming up at the end of the year. I think this would be a great thing to do for them to relieve a bit of the wedding stress.
Daniel Byrnes: I would like to nominate a good friend of ours, Lusy. She is now a single mum raising 2 small kids and i think she deserves something like this.
Judi Byrnes: My Mum. She is a wonderful Grandmother and Great Grandmother and it would be lovely to have some family photos while she's still with us.
Debbie: We have just had our family photos done with you. We would love to nominate my brother-in-law and his wife and their two beautiful (but cheeky!) little girls. They have had a difficult year to date (like many of us), and I am sure that would love some nice family photos to end the year on a high!
