I don’t know about others out there, but for each of my pregnancy’s I wish I had more photos of my belly growing over those long months of waiting for the big day. With Eli (my last bubba), I was lucky enough to have the lovely Clair Bremner from See Be Art do my maternity shoot at the end of the pregnancy, such special memories. But even though I have these amazing photos of my HUGE belly, I still don’t have much of the progression, of the belly growing bigger and bigger each month.

This got my mind ticking over, and I decided that I wanted to do a progression maternity session with someone else, even if I didn’t get those shots, I can at least help someone else have them! Kinda live through them I guess.

So when my good mate Megan told me she was pregnant, I was thrilled! Of course I was thrilled to hear that my mate would be welcoming a new bundle of joy, but I was also over the moon that I now had someone to do this special project with!

So yesterday, Megan and I got together for the first of the shoots, her 12 week one. Here are the shots!

It’s going to be so awesome watching the belly grow over the coming months!

Mel and her exceptionally adorable 3 boys also joined in for the mini session day.

Although it was near the end of the day, and most kids find it pretty hard to stay still at this time, I was impressed that these boys were actually quite good, and we were able to get some gorgeous shots of them.
